The doctors and staff of the Akron Veterinary Internal Medicine/Oncology practice would like to say thank you to all our referring veterinarians for the continued referrals and support. It is an honor to be a part of your patient’s medical team! As our practice continues to grow we want to insure our referring veterinarian and client satisfaction continues to improve as well. Just a reminder, we do have a doctor assigned every day to assist referring veterinarians with phone consults and emergencies.

Internal Medicine doctors are available six days a week for appointments and consults. Additionally, they are in the hospital Sunday mornings to evaluate in-house cases and transfers.

For Oncology, Dr. Gamblin’s new schedule is Monday through Thursday. Dr. Thalhofer and an oncology technician are here on Fridays to answer phone calls and administer chemotherapy. If you have an oncology case that cannot wait until Dr. Gamblin is in the office, please contact the internal medicine doctors.
