Dr. Sivula attended The Ohio State University for both his undergraduate and veterinary degrees. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Sivula pursued a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine with The University of Minnesota. During his residency, Dr. Sivula completed a PhD program in Veterinary Medicine/Epidemiology at The University of Minnesota.
Dr. Sivula worked at several veterinary hospitals in Minnesota before returning to Ohio in 1996.
After returning to Ohio, Dr. Sivula established Dancing Paws Animal Wellness Center. He completed certification courses in Animal Chiropractic through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association and also completed certification courses in Veterinary Acupuncture through the Association of Veterinary Acupuncturists of Canada and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. Dr. Sivula teaches animal chiropractic at the Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Wisconsin and the Backbone Academy for Veterinary Chiropractic and Healing Arts in Germany, as well as continuing education seminars for Chiropractors and Veterinarians in both the United States and Europe. He also gives educational lectures on integrative medicine to the public. Dr. Sivula focuses on acupuncture, chiropractic, rehabilitation therapy, pain management, nutritional counseling and behavior. |
