Dr. Karson grew up in Michigan where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Alma College. She completed her veterinary education at the University of Glasgow in Scotland with an interest in small animal medicine and surgery. Following graduation she completed a small animal rotating internship and a neurology/neurosurgery internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, and is now the current neurology/neurosurgery resident. Outside of work Dr. Karson enjoys playing video games, horseback riding, and aquarium keeping.
