Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital is the leading provider of Emergency and Specialty care in Northeast Ohio. We provide comprehensive collaborative care for companion animals, avian and exotic pets. We have two locations, one in Akron and one in Highland Heights to serve our patients. Both state-of-the-art locations contain cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Our services are all staffed with board-certified specialists, and highly trained technical staff. We are proud of the quality of care that we provide to our patients and our staff alike.
We are committed to higher education, and consistenly hold continuing education courses, and staff-led trainings. From this dedication to education came Metropolitan Veterinary Academy, which is Northeast Ohio’s premier veterinary assistant school.
