Dr. Gant grew up in New Mexico and attended Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  After completing a private practice internship in Colorado, he spent 8 years as an emergency clinician in the Cleveland area. Surgery became his passion during his time as an ER doctor,  and he pursued continued training through a surgical internship. He is currently a surgical resident with Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital. 

Outside of the hospital,  Dr. Gant enjoys fishing, fly tying, mountain biking, cooking, traveling and spending time with his wife, 5 cats, 2 dogs and chickens.
